Mental Health Information

Hello Parents,

As we move into summer with some uncertainty of what school will look like next year, I want you all to know that one of my top priorities will be empowering you as parents to learn about children's mental health.  We know that education and awareness are so important for being proactively healthy. Mental health is no different--and indeed, mental health IS physical health.

I recently learned of a middle school counselor that creates these lovely "go-to" graphics for school-aged children.  Please take a few moments soon to look through these images (credit: WholeHearted School Counseling).  The topics: Grief, Coping, Self-Esteem, Control, Self-Care, Anxiety (tips on what it may be telling you), and more.

We will also have a list of links set up soon on a variety of topics pertinent to child and family mental health. Stay tuned for an email explaining more.

Thank you. As always, I am a quick email away. Please don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to hear from you!

In Christ,
Mrs. Lomshek
